So why "The Search for the Perfect Cigar"?

A relatively new hobby for me is cigar smoking. Most people who get into this hobby will find over time that like many things in life there is not such a thing as a perfect cigar. Maybe I should say that there may not be one perfect cigar. Don't get me wrong there are many good cigars and a bunch of great cigars, but just like everything else in life there are times when one cigar just seems to fit better than the rest.

Lastly for anyone that is involved with cigars the search for the perfect cigar is a very subjective to the person looking. This is mainly because it revolves around individual preferences and taste. Over time our taste will change and as such the "Perfect Cigar" will also change. What may have been the absolute best last year, could just be an average pot of beans this year. This to some extent drives us to add a little variety to our lives as it as we keep searching. The fact that taste and opinions change over time in cigars and life is OK, but you have to admit that to yourself.

One of my favorite sayings is; "The only thing constant is change itself".

As I get older all I can say is how very true that statement is.

I guess when it comes down to it you could say that this will be as much an experiment in opinion and life as it will be a search for anything perfect. So sit back, relax and let the search begin.
